Jennifer Rabbitts, MD

Dr. Jennifer Rabbitts is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, USA. She received her medical degree from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and completed her postdoctoral clinical and research training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. She practices as a pediatric anesthesiologist and pain physician at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Rabbitts leads an NIH-funded research program focused on identifying mechanisms underlying acute to chronic pain transition, and development and testing of treatments to enhance recovery and improve long-term outcomes in adolescents undergoing major surgery.
