Linda Linsalata, MBA

Linda Linsalata is the acting Chief Financial Officer for ChildKind, and a member of the Board of Directors. She is the Founding Partner and President of Weston Corporate Development, Incorporated, (“WCDI”), a management consulting firm specializing in financial and business development for high technology, consumer, industrial, financial and service industries.

Ms. Linsalata typically functions as Chief Financial Officer and Board member for private corporations, and is generally responsible for development of corporate business and strategic plans, raising equity funds, organizing and staffing the finance function, and acquisition analysis, including structuring and negotiating deals. Previously, she was the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Spacetec IMC, a computer peripherals company. During her tenure, the company went public and she was responsible for the IPO process, and the development and expansion of the financial, internal and external business processes necessary to comply with SEC regulations and maximizing bottom-line performance. Prior to this, Ms. Linsalata was a General Partner with Investments Orange Nassau, a Boston based venture capital firm, with affiliated funds in Europe and Southeast Asia, where her industry focus included software, medical and semiconductor companies. Ms. Linsalata started her business career at IBM, where she held several management positions, including systems, sales and marketing. In addition to her for-profit Board positions, Ms. Linsalata was also a Board member of the Waltham-Weston Hospital. Ms. Linsalata received an MBA from Harvard Business School, with a focus on entrepreneurial finance and marketing, as well a BA in Mathematics from Vassar College.
